Former Swindon Town loanee Gordon Greer has agreed a two year deal with the Wiltshire club.

Greer, 28, originally joined in January on a loan deal from his former employers Doncaster Rovers. The Scotsman performed well and even captained the side during his spell.

After 19 games and 1 goal he returned to Doncaster safe in the knowledge that Swindon had survived the long relegation battle.

He was set to watch the final game at Peterborough from the stands but was needed for Doncaster’s away day at Championship champions Wolves (Greer made a late substitute appearance).

Greer will officially become a Swindon player when his contract ends at Doncaster.
