Good Luck To AFC Bournemouth

Vital Swindon Town would like to wish AFC Bournemouth fans the best of luck as the club fights for its very existance after being served with a winding-up petition.

The petition is set to be heard at Companies’ Court on 12th March.

Bournemouth had filed a third notice to appoint an administrator yesterday however the HM Revenue & Customs appear to have lost patience with the club.

The club is believed to be about £4m in debt and should the club go into administration they would be deducted 10 points by the Football League which would mean almost certain relegation to League 2.

Sadly too many lower league teams are forced into administration or fear worse thanks to the money that is poured into the Premier League which fails to filter down the leagues.

So far this season Northwich Victoria, Swindon Town, Luton Town, Coventry City and Leeds United have all faced financial uncertainty.

We wish fans of the Cherries all the best.

I would not like to go through that again or wish it on others (only Poxford).

    Nice gesture.

Cheers fellas – not a good time to be an AFCB fan off the pitch, while on the pitch we’re starting to do ok and pick up some much needed points. Which is a bit gutting when you’re just about to have 10 points taken off you. All the best for the season (especially now we’re not playing each other again!)
