New signing and Scotland Under-21 international Scott Cuthbert made his first start for Swindon Town at Swindon Supermarine last night.

The former Celtic youngster is on the road to recovery following injury.

J-P McGovern also started and scored the first goal of the evening.

The side included trialists Yan Klukowski, Panikos Efythmides and Bradley Clark.

It was Wiltshire youngster Klukowski who made the biggest impression scoring Swindon’s two other goals.

Ashley Edenborough and Alan Griffin (the brother of former Town striker Charlie Griffin) scored consolation goals for Supermarine.

The home side included former Town players Chris Taylor, Kyle Lapham, Matt Bulman, Leigh Henry, Luke Hopper and Sam Morris.
