Swindon Town Chairman Andrew Fitton has admitted he would like to talk to Ian Holloway about the vacant managerial job at the club.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Fitton was asked the question ‘if Ian Holloway was to apply would you want to speak to him’ to which Fitton replied ‘people have told me Ian has already applied by appearing in the Town End one afternoon.’

Fitton went on to say that if Holloway doesn’t call the club they will assume he doesn’t want the job and that he will not chase ‘Ollie’ .

Fitton continued, ‘If he wants to talk to us, and I’m sure he will, I will treat him with the respect he deserves’

There you go Ian, Give Swindon Town a call!

I wouldn’t trust him. He will only go there until a better offer comes along.

He’s probably the complete opposite to MM which is why his name is surfacing to the top.
I’d like to see Gus Poyet back, he was the brains behind him and Wisey – wisey was the spokesman.

Poyet will not come. He wouldnt now drop below the Championship I think.

We shouldnt reject Holloway just becauser he might leave. If thats the case we might as well get someone terrible as they are less likely to quit
