Swindon Town win their first game in a month after beating Hereford United 2-1 at Edgar Street to advance to the area quarter finals of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

Swindon Town striker Simon Cox scored at the half time whistle against Hereford United to give bring Swindon back into the game after being down 1-0 just before half time.

On 35 minutes Peter Brezovan dropped a Matt Done shot which trickled into the back of the net.

It marks the third major goalkeeping error in 4 games for Swindon Town.

Town would go ahead towards the end of the game thanks to Lee Peacock who slotted home the winner to sent the 200 plus Swindon Town fans into raptures.

  • strange how our keepers keep making mistakes , they could be two of the best keepers in the league . A good win so lets not be negative……………………………………………………………………………………………… sorry cant help it MALPAS OUT ………………..lol

  • Hopefully Peacs will be in the at the start, A lot of the problem at home is the atmosphere or lack of it due mainly to the season ticket offer, seems like most of ‘chanters’ are spread around the different stands.

  • i agree peacs should start , if we start good the atmosphere will be there but we never seem to start good
