‘What disappoints me more than anything is that we’ve handed goals away’ bemoaned Danny Wilson to the local press after Town were thrashed 4-0 at home to Bristol Rovers on Saturday afternoon.
It was the second comfortable win for Rovers against Town this season and this time it puts Swindon in a nervous situation because now they face three away fixtures in a row and none of them can be considered easy. First, Town take on Milton Keynes Dons as they attempt to keep in touch with the Play-Offs, beating Swindon would help.
Next Saturday, the club travel to Brighton and then to St. Marys to take on Southampton a week on Tuesday.
This coming week will be a significant test of character for Danny Wilson and his side. Here’s hoping they can re-discover the Play-Off form.
