Rhys Evans has finally put pen to paper on a 2 year contract at Blackpool leaving Swindon with no goalkeepers with first team experience.
Evans stated he wanted a quick resolution and appeared to be upset that Swindon would not give him the contract he wanted, even though he insisted he wanted to stay.
Evans becomes the third player of the season, in three years to depart the club after winning the award.
We would like to wish Rhys all the best in the future, and we shall meet again next season when Swindon Town return to league one….. we hope.

very very good signing!!!! one of the best keepers in the division if not the best
for blackpool that is sorry. Cant understand why he wasnt offered a deal, was ur player of the season?
strange..
He was offered a contract, but was not happy with it. Dennis wise appears to have 2 decent replacements anyway. Evans not all that anyway.
