Swindon Town Striker Fola Onibuje has left the club and joined League One side Brentford on loan for two months.

Onibuje has been a fan favourite since his arrival from Conference side Cambridge United in the summer. Fola has lightening fast speed but ahs not been able to hold down a place in the first team.

Onibuje originally signed a three month contract under then manager Dennis Wise, however new manager Paul Sturrock has obviously found the tall striker to be surplus to requirements at the County Ground.

  • don’t make sense as sturrock says he ain’t good enough for us, league 2 but he’s good enough for league one, ummmm!!!!!!!!!

  • Sturrock plays a certain type of football. Fola has bags of pace but his control leaves something to be desired

  • still don’t think he was given a faie chance Sturrock originally said that they all had one game to impress. I wish Fola luck and hopefully he may gone on and prove people wrong and start scoring.
