Paolo Di Canio launched an awesome attack on his critics yesterday during his pre-Oxford press conference. Many fans had vented their anger and frustration at Di Canio`s decision to substitute goalkeeper Wes Foderingham 20 minutes into Town`s 4-1 loss to Preston.

Some had even went as ballistic to say they wanted their season ticket money back despite Town being only 3 points off the top of the league.

During the press conference Di Canio said, “Some fans say if Wes goes, I want the money of my season ticket back. I tell them, come to the County Ground I will give you the money back. Don`t come to Swindon though go to Oxford, we don`t need fans like this.”

Foderingham and Di Canio have since buried the hatchet and the former Crystal Palace keeper is available for selection against Oxford United on Wednesday.
