Another day and another Swindon Town player has commented on their pending Robins future.
Today it was the turn of Barry Corr who has admitted that his future maybe away from Wiltshire.
The popular but injury-prone striker started the campaign out-of-action before making his first appearance in late September during the 1-1 draw at Stockport County.
He made only 11 league games scoring twice, both during 2-2 draws, against Leicester City and Bristol Rovers. During the 1-1 home draw against Stockport Corr dislocated his shoulder – the injury required surgury thus ending his season.
Corr has confirmed that he cannot participate in contact work until June. However, talking to the Swindon Evening Advertiser – Corr admitted that he is keen to remain with Swindon and that when asking Danny Wilson on his future the Town boss suggested that his future depends on whether Town stay in League One next season or not.
However, Corr confessed that he feels his career with Swindon is over – he stated that ‘maybe with all the injuries I`ve had here it could be that I move on and in my head I have it set that I will be moving on.’
