Deputy Chairman Mark Devlin has revealed that Swindon Town have given permission to Rotherham United Supporters Trust (R.U.S.T) To do a bucket collection at the County Ground Saturday prior to the Millers match against Swindon.

Rotherham who need to find £1 Million otherwise face liquidation have had many clubs chip in to help their cause including Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday. Speaking to Fans on an internet Message Board Devlin stated.

‘Trust STFC contacted the club about allowing the Rotherham Trust to hold a bucket collection outside the CG on Saturday. We have given them the OK to do so. I understand and sympathise we those who believe we should look after ourselves first, but there for the grace God and all that.’

There is no word from Rotherham Supporters Trust as to whether they will go ahead with a collection Saturday or not.
