Swindon Town defender and captain Hasney Aljofree will miss Town’s match against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Aljofree left Town’s clash with Hartlepool United last Saturday on a stretcher after suffering a knee injury minutes into the match.

Aljofree will not play Saturday and the diagnosis of the extent of the injury is cautiously optimistic.

Dick Mackey the clubs physio told the official Swindon Town website, ‘It would be unprofessional to try and put a timescale on his recovery until we have spoken to our consultant orthopaedic surgeon.’

Chris Blackburn who has scored 3 goals for Swindon is likely to play in Aljofree’s place until he returns from this set-back.
